Wedding cars – important to you?

First, a big apology! It seems the first thing to be neglected in busy times is this blog. I love to be busy, but this is a bit much … organising the relocation of home and business, weddings, babies, first communions and christenings, portraits. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Had a lovely wedding at Burnhouse Manor Hotel on Saturday with gorgeous MargaretRose and her handsome man Andrew. MargaretRose was beautiful in an antique lace gown, which really flattered her petite figure. She arrived in style in a graceful vintage vehicle. Andrew and his two best men arrived with a roar of red that was a V8 4.6 litre Mustang capable of producing 550 horsepower!! Quite an entrance, and a special surprise from Andrew’s bride to be! Mustang provided by Mustang Hire Scotland.

There is no question that the wedding day belongs to the bride – sorry guys! I did think it was a fabulous touch to include the Mustang, and it got me to thinking; over the years I have photographed Aston Martins, Jaguars, Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Beaufords, a couple of VW Campervans, a Beetle, and at least one double cab bakkie (SUV for the non South Africans!). For some people the wedding cars are very important, for others less so. From my point of view if certainly is a photo opportunity – what do people think?
